Prague audiovisual fund announces new call for Professional projects; application period: October 15 – November 15, 2025
On August 15, 2028, the Board of Trustees of the Prague Audiovisual Fund decided to launch another call for the support of professional audiovisual projects filmed in Prague.
The application period for a grant for audiovisual projects under Call 2025/1 (Professional) runs from October 15 to November 15, 2025.
The new Call for Grant Applications applies to audiovisual projects in the following categories:
- Film (feature, documentary, and animated)
- Serial formats (feature, documentary, and animated)
The audiovisual work must be intended for foreign cinema distribution, foreign distribution via television broadcasting, retransmitted television broadcasting, video-on-demand services, or subscription-based streaming services.
Another essential condition is that Prague must represent Prague in the filmed project.
Applications may be submitted for projects whose filming began or will begin between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026.
For long-term (time-lapse) documentaries, the condition of starting production within this period does not apply; however, the project must be completed by the end of 2027.
